"I believe my purpose in life is to motivate and help others reveal what their capable of."
At age 12, John's first passion was to become a hairdresser. In his hometown, Vancouver B.C, he worked as a precision stylist and instructor at two high end salons for half a decade before he decided to pursue another passion, fitness.
John first started calisthenics in 2017, mainly working out at local parks and occasionally being brought to the gym by his co-workers to help them with their training. John was asked if he would ever consider being a personal trainer due to his teaching abilities that carried over from being an instructor at the salon, and that's when the seed was planted.
His training advanced to a pair of gymnastic rings due to the wide variety of elements that no other training discipline compares to. The idea of being a personal trainer alongside his obsession with training on something uniquely challenging gave him the idea to start his own business. He wanted to provide a service where he could train clients 1 on 1 either virtually or outdoors. John understands everyone reflects about their health and fitness, so his creation of Ring Strength is to introduce that in a more captivating way.
